Playboy seeks McD volunteers to take off their uniforms

Nation's Restaurant News, Oct 25, 2004

CHICAGO -- Playboy.com, the Internet division of Playboy magazine, is expected to debut in November a pictorial called the "Women of McDonald's" and is looking for employees of the fast-food chain to take part in the series, published reports said. McDonald's Corp., based in Oak Brook. Ill., said in a statement: "We neither condone nor encourage participating in this type of activity," and added that it is "inconsistent with our brand."

The pictorial apparently would follow other such popular Playboy series as the "Women of Starbucks," "Women of Wal-Mart" and "'Women of Home Depot." Hundreds of female employees of those companies reportedly sent in photos for consideration in those series.
