Domino's retains UPS vet to succeed CFO Silverman

ANN ARBOR, MICH. -- Domino's Pizza, the pizza segment's No. 2 chain, named L. David Mounts chief financial officer and executive vice president of finance, effective Nov. 2. He will report to chairman and chief executive David Brandon and succeed Harry J. Silverman, 46, who is retiring after 20 years but will remain a Domino's adviser through year-end.

Mounts, 42, has been with UPS Inc. since 1983, most recently as corporate controller for U.S. operations, and previously as chief financial officer for the UPS Supply Chain Solutions Group.
