Mark Clark: a newcomer to Highlands Ranch, Colo., but an old hand at sales and staffing success

Nation's Restaurant News, Jan 26, 2004 by Dina Berta

"What creates success at Red Robin is the people skills and the leadership skills, and then it's the technical and fundamental activities--running good costs, good ticket times, making good production schedules and managing all the other zillions of things a general manager must do in the course of a day. Mark is very proficient at all of those. He has a great balance between the people skills and all the technical and functional skills.

"It did not take long to have Mark's name rise to the top of the list."
