OAK BROOK, ILL. -- McDonald's Corp. partnered with Sega of America Inc. to launch the Search for the Silver Game, a Happy Meal promotion that will award 25 gaming systems and more than 2,000 Sonic video games.
Happy Meals contain one of eight handheld, interactive video games based on Sega's top-selling "Sonic the Hedgehog." The top prize is a special premium included in 25 meals and redeemable for a Sega ultimate gaming system. Premiums for Sonic video games will be packed into 2,475 meals.

The promotion, which caps this year's 25th anniversary celebration of the Happy Meal, will run through Dec. 27. TV, radio and online ads support the promotion.
