Game over: McDonald's Canada ends 7-unit test

Nation's Restaurant News, Feb 18, 2002

MONTREAL -- McDonald's Restaurants of Canada said it would end a test program that involved installing pay-for-play electronic game machines last fall in seven of its 233 units in Quebec.

Added to the restaurants to offer children more play options, the machines generated consumer feedback that McDonald's said had led it to "conclude that the experiment is not satisfying for a large enough number of customers."
