Valentino's parent rolls POS, report systems

LINCOLN, NEB. -- Valentino's of America Inc., based here, parent of the 41-unit Valentino's pizza chain, is rolling out to its 22 company-owned restaurants SpeedLine POS and SpeedLink Enterprise from SpeedLine Solutions Inc., the vendor said.

"SpeedLine gives us a lot of flexibility to customize the software, easing the transition for our staff," said Anthony Messineo Jr., president of VOA. "By integrating online ordering and connecting all of our stores together [for reporting purposes] with SpeedLink Enterprise, we are streamlining procedures and advancing Valentino's with 21st century technology."

VOA is recommending that franchisees of the Valentino's chain, with stores in six states, also make the move to SpeedLine, representatives of Lynden, Wash.-based SpeedLine Solutions said.
