MORRISTOWN, N.J. -- Villa Pizza partnered with Pepsi Cola and Apple/iTunes in a promotion offering free music downloads from among 1 million available songs.
Beverage cups contain winning codes, which allow consumers to download songs from iTunes.com.
Villa Pizza is "extremely excited" about this promotion because of the "enormous amount of brand equity involved with the Pepsi and Apple names," according to marketing manager John Drinkard.
The promotion, which is being supported with point-of-purchase material, will run through March 31. Villa Pizza is owned by Villa Enterprises Inc. and has 300 units in 38 states.
