Food Services of America names prexy

SEATTLE -- Dick Weis has been named to the post of president and chief executive of Food Service of America, a high-volume distributor catering primarily to the institutional and non-commercial segment.

A 27-year veteran of the foodservice industry, Weis held a number of positions with such companies as Continental Food Service and Sysco. Most recently, he had served as branch president for an FSA distribution facility in Kent, Wash.
