Sodexho said it would pay as much as 694 million francs -- about $138 million -- for the stake, in which other parties, including French restaurant group Financiere Generale de Restauration, also were reported to be interested. Sodexho also said it would challenge rival Accor SA's sale of its stake in Eurest to Compass Plc. on the grounds that the sale was in conflict with an earlier agreement with shareholders.
