Sysco Corp. subsidiaries tap key executives for promotions

HOUSTON -- Distribution giant Sysco Corp. has named a series of executive promotions at its subsidiaries.

Walter Rudisiler was appointed president and chief executive of Sysco Food Services, Jacksonville, Fla.

Rudisiler, 43, most recently served as vice president of the company, which distributes products throughout North Florida, South Georgia and portions of South Carolina, since 1991. He succeeds Gerald Faircloth, who will retire effective Sept. 1.

Chris Reasoner was promoted to executive vice president Sysco/Louisville Food Services Co. Reasoner, 44, joined Sysco's Cleveland subsidiary in 1969. He was most recently senior vice president of sales for Sysco/Louisville, a post he had held since 1993.

Jay Milligan was named executive vice president for Sysco Food Services of Indianapolis. Milligan, 41, was previously senior vice president of merchandising.

Carl Cannova was promoted to the position of executive vice president of Mid-Central/Sysco Food Services Inc. of Olathe, Kan.

Since 1992 Cannova served as senior vice president of the company. A former restaurateur, Cannova, 52, joined Sysco in 1979 as a marketing associate.

Eugene M. Bohlmeyer was appointed executive vice president of Pegler-Sysco Food Services Co., a subsidiary located in Lincoln, Neb. He was most recently senior vice president of the company.

He had previously been senior vice president of the company since 1993. Bohlmeyer, 50, joined the company in 1967 as a marketing associate.
