Denny's cuts prices 25% on kids menu

SPARTANBURG, S.C.--Families hankering for a value meal in a full-service setting will find just that with Denny's new under $2.00 menu for kids.

Following the lead of many companies in the industry, Denny's recently introduced the value meal, which features a $1.79 breakfast; $1.89 lunch; and $1.99 dinner. Menu prices are down 25 percent with the new promotion.

Children under 10 who purchase the meal are entitled to an activities booklet called "Adventure Seekers." The 8-page booklet, with monthly-changing features, offer kids stories, comics, puzzles and games.

The 1,400-unit chain will launch the new menu with in-store merchandising, point of purchase materials, static clings, banners and pole signs.
