GARLAND, Texas -- Spaghetti Warehouse Inc., the chain of 38 family Italian restaurants based here, has named H.G. "Carey" Carrington Jr. chief financial officer and senior vice president.
Carrington, 38, replaced William B. Rea Jr., who left Spaghetti Warehouse to become chief financial officer at Pollo Tropical, a privately held restaurant company in Miami. Rea will continue to serve on Spaghetti Warehouse's board of directors, the company said.
Carrington has been a Spaghetti Warehouse director since 1990 and most recently was a director of corporate finance for NationsBank Investment Banking. He helped plan and execute Spaghetti Warehouse's public stock offering in 1985.

Spaghetti Warehouse owns 31 restaurants and franchises two units in 16 states. It also franchises five Old Spaghetti Factory restaurants in Canada.
