ORLANDO, Fla. -- A Sizzler franchisee here is scheduled to open a unit of the company's upgraded Sizzler American Grill concept and integrate it with Dannon's proprietary Yogurt Cravings Shop and Gourmet Cup, a specialty coffee concept. Fred Karimipour, a seven-unit Sizzler licensee, said the unit was scheduled to open at the end of August.
Parent Sizzler International launched an 11-unit test of the Sizzler American Grill in the Sacramento, Calif., area Aug. 1. The concept includes new decor, signage and a smoker for such new items as pork chops.
