Pizza Hut signs multiyear deal with Syracuse

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse University students, used to the standard cafeteria fare, will find the menu has been perked up with an item that ranks high on the list of American college students' favorites.

Pizza Hut Inc. has just secured a multiyear contract with the university to serve Pizza Hut pizzas exclusively at the Carrier Dome and other student centers.

"Basically what we've done is taken over the commissary operations for this specific product line," explained John Kinslow, area manager for Pizza Hut.

Kinslow would not disclose the value of the contract.

Personal Pan pizzas will be offered to students daily in dining halls, in student centers and in campus snack bars as well as at the Dome for all home football and basketball games.
