Country Kitchen Int'l names Foster president

Nation's Restaurant News, Feb 10, 1997

MINNEAPOLIS -- Country Kitchen International Inc. named Charles Footer president of the 250-unit family brand, which is owned by restaurant-hotel-and-travel-service conglomerate Carlson Hospitility Worldwide. Foster most recently had been vice president of T.G.I. Friday's, another Carlson brand, and before that he held management posts with ShowBiz Pizza and Steak and Ale.

Foster fills a vacancy created by the departure of Glenn Drasher, who had held the title of executive vice president of Country Kitchen until recently joining Buffets Inc.

Meanwhile, Friday's named Steve King to executive vice president of Friday's domestic business, from senior vice president, and elevated Italianni's vice president, Merritt Croker, to senior vice president of Italianni's, the company's casual-Italian chain.
