BEDFORD, Texas -- D.L. Rogers Corp., a 52-unit Sonic Drive-in franchisee based here, acquired the Pizzetti's Pizza concept from Tulsa, Okla.-based Mazzio's Corp., parent of the Mazzio's and Zio's brands. The acquisition included two units of the pizza-and-buffet concept in Kansas City, Mo., plus the trademarks and other rights associated with the brand. Terms were not disclosed.
D.L. Rogers chairman Darrell Rogers said he plans to open four more Pizzetti's units in 1997 and will begin franchising the concept in 1998.
