SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Joseph A. Aprile has been named to the newly created position of president of Canteen Corp.'s food and vending division.
Aprile will oversee Canteen's approximately 1,600 dining center accounts and 11,400 vending accounts nationwide, an operation that generated $1 billion of Canteen's $1.37 billion in 1993 revenues.
With the creation of the new position Canteen has been restructured into three distinct divisions: dining and vending; Volume Services, the company's recreational feeder; and TW Recreational Services, the company's park services contractor.
The heads of those divisions report to Samuel Maw, Canteen's acting chief operating officer.
