Haas outdoors names director, advisor - Industry Newsmakers

Bob Turner has joined the Mossy Oak staff as director of retail operations. He will oversee all phases of retail operations, including purchasing, expense control, marketing assistance, operational displays, seasonal planning and budgeting.

Turner received his bachelor of science in marketing at the University of Montana. His career includes 20 years at Kmart, and as the vice president of merchandise manager at Galyan's Trading Co.

Jim Porter is the new Shooting Sports Advisor at Haas Outdoors. Porter has served as a sales representative for Advance Marketing Specialist (AMS) for the past 13 years.

In 2002, Porter was assigned director of brand management at AMS, and is responsible for the day-to-day workings of the sales group.
