Laura Burgess opens PR and marketing company - Industry Bulletin Board

Laura Burgess has opened a public relations and marketing communications company, specializing in the shooting, hunting, personal defense and law-enforcement markets. Previously with Sigarms for over 12 years, she served as the director of public relations and corporate communications, and publisher and editor-in-chief of Velocity Magazine.

Burgess has experience in all facets of public relations and marketing communications, including strategy development, media planning and buying events, and publishing. She received her BA in advertising from Pennsylvania State University and her MBA from Franklin Pierce College. She is currently receiving new clients in the outdoor sports and law enforcement fields.
