Knight Rifle Reclassified As Antique

Shooting Industry, Jan, 1999 by Robert Hausman

The Knight DISC Rifle has been reclassified as an antique firearm and can once again be sold by gun retailers and catalogers without the federally mandated paperwork. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has agreed to the newly enacted definition of an antique firearm according to the 1968 Gun Control Act.

Before the legislation, the DISC Rifle, an in-line muzzleloader, was considered a firearm because of its ignition system.
