Stutler named champion

Shooting Industry, Jan, 2005 by Russ Thurman

Salutes are in order for Bob Stutler, Ruger's general manager and director of its Prescott (Ariz.) operations. He was named the 2004 Grand National New Shooter Champion, in November at the Grand National Quail Hunt in Enid, Okla. No small feat. Stutler was one of 25 new shooters invited to take part in the prestigious hunt.

"Bob sets a high standard in our Prescott plant, and he maintains an equally high standard when it comes to competitive shooting. It's very important that our customers know just how highly we value the tradition of hunting and participation in the shooting sports. This company is run by shooters and hunters who understand what our customers want," said Steve Sanetti, Ruger president.
