Top Browning service

Shooting Industry, Feb, 2004

A few years back, I purchased a Browning A-bolt. It's a Greywolf model with laminated stock, stainless steel receiver and barrel in .25-06 caliber. When purchased, it had several nicks in the stock and one bad gouge in the stainless steel receiver. The dealer lowered the price a little because of the imperfections.

After the purchase, I called Browning and explained the situation and asked if repairs could be made and at what cost. The customer service rep. told me to send it in and they would let me know.

To my surprise about two weeks after I sent it in, I received it back with all repairs made and at no cost to me. Now that's service. I'm still wondering how they repaired the gouge in the receiver without replacing it, but whatever they did it looks beautiful.

I would just like to show my praise for Browning and their staff by letting everyone know what a great job they did for me.
