Henry's to open Memphis distribution center

Henry's, one of the distributors of Big Rock Sports Co., will open an additional distribution center in Memphis, Tenn. The 50,000-square-foot facility will open in early 2004 and will house over 30,000 brand-name hunting and fishing products.

"The mid-south is one of Henry's fastest growing territories and this new warehouse operation will allow us to provide better service, a broader assortment of product and one- to two-day shipping to the entire region," said Mark Suber, Henry's general manager.

According to company officials, the new facility, combined with the capabilities of the existing Henry's center in Morehead City, N.C., enables Henry's to serve the needs of the independent retailer along the entire east coast, the mid south and as far west as Texas.
