Evaluating Taurus

Shooting Industry, April, 2005

Great magazine. How about an article on the Taurus pistol Model 24/7 in .45 ACP. Have someone try one out on the range and let us know how it does and how they like it. I have been told that Taurus has come a long way and now are producing great guns for a good price. I'm thinking of purchasing a 24/7 in .45 ACP and would like someone's first-hand input.

An evaluation of the Taurus 24/7 has already been done by Dave Douglas, a 27-year police veteran and new editor of American COP. His story on the 24/7 appeared in the November 2004 issue of GUNS Magazine.

"So what's the bottom line on the Taurus 24/7? It is a very well built firearm designed primarily for self-defense. More important, it shoots very well and it shoots every time," Dave wrote.

There's more, of course, to Dave's extensive evaluation. The article also includes great photos from Ichiro Nagata. Call (858) 605-0253 to order a copy.
