The National Licensing Center, which processes gun-dealer licenses, has announced a new customer service feature. Now, applicants for firearms and explosives licenses/permits may request the necessary application forms via e-mail.
Requests should be emailed to: NLClicenseapplication@atf.gov. The email request should contain the subject line: "Request for Application Package." To expedite requests, the following information is required:
* Full name.
* Full premises address with a full mailing address.
* City, state and ZIP Code.
* E-mail addresses, if applicable.
* Application type requested.
According to officials, application requests will be filled within 24 to 48 hours. Application package will be sent via standard U.S. Postal Service.
