MidwayUSA establishes shooting endowment

Shooting Industry, June, 2007

Larry and Brenda Potterfield of MidwayUSA recently partnered with the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) to establish the Junior Shooting Trust (JST) Fund Endowment.

The Potterfields donated $25,000 to provide initial funding of the endowment, with earnings to be used exclusively to finance the newly created Junior Trapshooting Trust Program.

"New shooters are the lifeblood of our business and our industry. Bringing new shooters into the shooting sports is critical to our future," said Larry Potterfield, company president and CEO.

The Junior Shooting Trust Fund (JST) Program will support young shooters participating in registered ATA shoots at the local, state, regional and national level.
