Pro-Ears Awarded National Approval

Shooting Industry, July, 2001

Pro-Ears electronic hearing protection system has been approved by the U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).

"While we were only one of many electronic hearing protection products to be tested, we are extremely pleased to be the first and only one to pass the stringent MSHA tests and receive certification," said Dan Nigro, president of RidgeLine, which manufactures Pro-Ears.

RidgeLine also announced it has expanded its facility, located in Westcliffe, Colo.

"In a move to consolidate our entire operation under one roof, we recently completed an expansion of our existing facility by 6,000-plus square feet. This expansion will be home to our new manufacturing, assembly and shipping area to allow us greater control and flexibility," Nigro said.
