There's Money In Optics!

Swift Instruments

New Swift products include lightweight Trilyte binoculars, seven new Premier rifle scope models, telescopes, and a new, long eye-relief Lynx zoom spotting scope for hunters. Riflescopes include 1 inch and 30mm tube models. The compact 9x binoculars feature a rubber-armored green camouflage finish. Swift riflescopes are available in regular black or matte finishes.

Tasco Worldwide

Tasco's new scopes for 2001 include three EXP riflescopes, one EXP shotgun/black powder scope, two World Class 40mm rifle/black powder scopes and one new World Class illuminated reticle compact scope. The EXP riflescopes feature 30/30 oval objects that provide wide views while permitting low profile mounting. Super Light Transmission (SLT) multi-coating covers the lenses. Glove-Grip turrets permit .25 MOA windage and elevations adjustments.

Trijicon

Trijicon's new AccuPoint 1.254x25mm dual illuminated scope is designed for low-light, close-in hunting. Tritium and fiber-optic light collectors illuminate the sight that Trijicon says will improve aiming speed and accuracy.

Weaver

Weaver's Grand Slam riflescopes are equipped with Weaver's Micro-Trac patented four-point adjustment system. The Grand Slams feature a Duplex reticle, except for the 6x20x model -- which is offered with varminter reticles or fine, center-dotted crosshairs. Nitrogen filled and black-rubber armored, the Weaver Grand Slam binocular series comes in either 8.5x45mm or 10.5x45mm.

Winchester Optics

Winchester has licensed Vanguard of Taiwan to make binoculars, spotting scopes and a monocular under the Winchester name. The series offers five binoculars, two spotting scope kits and a monocular. Vanguard grinds and polishes its own optical glass and the binoculars have rubber-coated aluminum bodies.

Zeiss

Zeiss is offering four new Conquest series riflescopes this year. The 3-9x40mm, 3-9x40mm, 3.5-l0x44mm and 4.5-14x44mm carry mid-range price tags. The scopes are water and fogproof, and carry the company's lifetime transferable warranty. Zeiss' Victory Binoculars are available in l0x40mm, 8x40mm, 10x56mm and 8x56mm. They feature multi-coated lenses and glass free of lead and arsenic, which makes them thinner, lighter and less-bulky optics systems.
