Meopta creates U.S. division

Meopta Sports Optics has announced the creation of a U.S. division, headquartered in Middle Island, N.Y., and the appointment of Walter Seace as national sales and marketing manager.

According to Meopta, the company is the largest producer of optical mechanical products in central Europe.

Seace is tasked with introducing Meopta products to the U.S. market and establishing a dealer-direct sales network. He previously held management positions with Bushnell Sports Optics, Weatherby and Vivitar.
