Shooting Industry, July, 2005
My family and I have considered moving to Maryland or Pennsylvania. In the meantime, I have been searching for ranges where I can learn to shoot. The yellow pages here have not been a help. Any suggestions?
My zip is 11210. I work in Brooklyn and Long Island. I can travel to Queens, Long Island or other parts of Brooklyn for lessons. I'd appreciate any information you can offer.

Here are four ranges that are located within 5 miles of your zip code.
* Bay Ridge Rod and Gun Club, Brooklyn
* Competitors Shooting, Brooklyn
* Metropolitan Rifle and Gun Club, Brooklyn
* Verrazano Rod & Gun Club, Brooklyn
To get their telephone numbers, addresses and a look at their Web sites, if they have one, visit www.wheretoshoot.org.
This is a free service of the National Shooting Sports Foundation. You may search for gun ranges by geographical area, by state, area code or zip code. The site will also be useful for locating shooting facilities once you move.
