Tommy Millner, Remington CEO, announced in June changes to the company's executive leadership team. The changes, according to Millner, will "strengthen the organization's already strong team through additional focus on key strategic areas within the company."
Paul Miller is the new chairman of the board. Miller most recently served as the chairman of the board of Bushmaster Firearms. His diverse background includes executive leadership positions in the defense and telecommunications industries.
Paul Cahan has been named president, Ammunition and Clay Target Operations. Cahan most recently served as senior vice president, Manufacturing and has been with Remington for 12 years. Cahan will oversee all manufacturing facilities and R & D activities for ammunition and clay targets.
John DeSantis has been named president, Firearms Operations. DeSantis most recently served as chief executive officer of Bushmaster Firearms. DeSantis will oversee all manufacturing facilities and R & D activities within Remington's firearms business.
Scott Blackwell has been named president, Sales and Marketing. Blackwell most recently served as the president of Bushmaster Firearms. He will oversee all sales and marketing operations for Remington on a global basis.
