Benchmade promotes Mooney

Greg Mooney has been named president of Benchmade Knife Co. He was formerly senior vice president of operations.

"Greg has shown he understands the brand and has the skills, passion, discipline and vision that will continue to lead Benchmade into the future for continued growth and prosperity," said Les de Asis, company founder and CEO.

Mooney began his career at Bench-made in September 1997 as the vice president of sales and marketing.

"I am excited for what the future holds and I am genuinely honored to be entrusted with an even greater role in the execution of Les's ultimate vision for Benchmade," Mooney said.
