Legacy Sports posts growth, expands

Shooting Industry, August, 2007 by Russ Thurman

Legacy Sports International is experiencing great sales since it moved to Reno in January 2006. With the "overwhelming sales growth," Legacy has taken over additional warehouse and office space in an adjoining building at their Longley Lane location.

"I'm very proud of what we've done," said Gene Lumsden, president and CEO. "Last year, we were up 38 percent and this year we are going to be very close to 38, if not more. Our biggest problem is actually getting enough product." Lumsden said the Howa bolt-action rifle has played a large part in the company's growth.
