MKS Supply handles Charter Arms

Shooting Industry, Sept, 2005

There's good news for dealers selling Charter Arms guns. MKS Supply Inc. has entered into an agreement to handle all sales, marketing and distribution of Charter brand firearms.

Earlier this year, Charter filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. With the new arrangement with MKS Supply, will give Charter the support and boost needed to continue making firearms.

"The partnership will afford Charter Arms more time to concentrate on much needed increased production of its seven models," said Charles Brown, MKS Supply president and CEO. "We're proud to be affiliated with Charter Arms and to be able to continue what started in Gun Valley over 40 years ago--providing a 100-percent American-made gun that's reasonably priced."

Look for good things to happen with this partnership. Charles Brown in one of the industry's most capable businessmen.
