Sturm, Ruger & Co.
Whether you're after dangerous game, varmints or dove, Sturm, Ruger & Co., has a firearm to fit the hunt.
The Ruger M77RSM MKII Magnum Rifle is chambered for the .375 H&H, .404 Jeffery and .416 Rigby. The 22-inch barrel on the Magnum Rifle is machined from a solid bar of steel and the action is built to handle hefty power. It has three V-notched express rear sights and a blade front sight. The stock is Circassian walnut. The Magnum Rifle is 42 1/8 inches long and weighs 7 1/2 pounds.
A new International Carbine has joined the rimfire autoloading line. The 10/22RBI is much like the K10/22RB Standard Carbine except that it sports a full-length American hardwood stock.
The new Ruger KRL-2036 20-gauge Sporting Clays packs a lot into a basic package. The over-and-under has a 3-inch chamber, Modified, Improved Cylinder and two Skeet chokes, plus gold-bead front and middle sights. It has a 30-inch barrel, measures 47 inches overall and weighs 7 pounds.
U.S. Repeating Arms
The Model 94 has received some special treatment at Winchester in celebration of the gun's 100th anniversary. Nine Models of the 94 are offered, all faithful to the original, but enhanced with modern manufacturing and special features.
The New Model 94 Limited Edition High Grade is chambered in .30 WCF (.30-30 Win). It has a 26-inch barrel and weighs 7 pounds. Engraving on the receiver is highlighted in gold. A tang-mounted sight compliments the authenticity of this fine, historical firearm.
Winchester has added the .416 Rem. Mag. chambering to its Model 70 Super Express Magnum rifles. The Super Express Magnums are the heavyweights from Winchester. The new chambering joins the .375 H&H Mag. and the .458 Win. Mag. The new Model 70 in .416 has a 24-inch barrel and weighs 8 3/4 pounds. It has a claw-controlled round-feed bolt design, two steel cross bolts for strength and a one-inch recoil pad.
Two new shotguns have been added to the Model 1300 line-up. The New Model 1300 Black Shadow Turkey and New Model 1300 Black Shadow Deer join this popular Winchester series.
Both guns have a dull black matte finish on the barrel, receiver and magazine. Their stocks are made of non-glare black composite. These 12-gauge guns have 22-inch barrels, 3-inch chambers and are drilled and tapped for scopes.
Weatherby
The Mark V rifles from Weatherby continue their reputation for reliability and accuracy. The Varmintmaster in .22-250 enjoys the smaller version of the Mark V action. It has a 26-inch barrel, weighs 6 1/2 pounds and features six locking lugs for positive action. The Monte Carlo stock has a raised comb and a Rosewood forend tip.
For the ultimate in toughness, Weatherby has the Weathermark Rifles. The Weathermark Alaskan is built to handle the most rugged hunts. It is available in chamberings from .257 to .375 H&H Mag. To provide the most protection, an electroless nickel non-glare finish is used on the barrel and action. The stock is made of injection-molded composite that has been reinforced with glass fibers. Barrel lengths are 22, 24 and 26 inches. This hard-working rifle weighs 7 1/2 pounds.
