Conferences to award P.A.C.E credits - Events - series of conferences on phlebotomy and needlestick safety - Brief Article

Medical Laboratory Observer, Feb, 2002

The Center for Phlebotomy Education, Inc. (CPE) and ECRI will offer a series of conferences on phlebotomy and needlestick safety. Some of the topics to be discussed are "Seizing Control of Blood Culture Contamination Rates," "Protecting Yourself from Phlebotomy-related Lawsuits," and "The Bloodborne Pathogens Standard: Revised and Revisited." Upon completion of the program, attendees will be eligible for up to six hours of P.A.C.E. credits.

The first conference in the series, titled "Phlebotomy Techniques and Needlestick Safety," is being offered at these locations: Charlotte, NC on March 2; Miami, FL on March 9; Houston, TX on March 15.
