Gas Technology Institute (GTI) signed a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA). that will help GTI establish an institute in China for training personnel in all aspects of natural gas exploration, production, delivery and use. The agreement includes a grant of up to $500,000 to GTI from TDA to support the project GTI will work in partnership with the Chinese State Development Planning Commission (SDPC), which signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TDA on Sept.

10 related to the project. GTI also will use its membership base to secure sponsorship, lecturers, and donations of equipment to promote U.S. technologies.
