Tractebel Engineering, division of SUEZ-TRACTEBEL S.A., offers a color brochure describing and illustrating its service which it says makes it one of Europe's major engineering consultancies. The brochure lists the Tractebel-SUEZ expertise as gas transmission infrastructures, gas distribution networks (including CNG) and underground gas storage. It lists competencies as gas master plan; conceptual and feasibility studies; basic engineering; detailed engineering; construction management, commissioning and start-up; training; support to operation; and upgrading. The company says it has engineered 60,000 km of pipelines over the last 40 years; offers 140 skilled engineers; performs 200,000 engineering hours per year and has completed 100 projects in 25 countries.
