Industry: Email Alert RSS FeedBP to build five wind power projects in U.S. this year

BP Alternative Energy North America Inc. expects to begin construction on five wind power generation projects in the U.S. this year. Located in California, Colorado, North Dakota and Texas, they are expected to deliver combined generation capacity of 550 MW. When complete, the projects will exceed the company's previous target to build 450 MW by the end of 2008.
