New president of GL Industrial Services for the Americas

Edward Pagano was appointed president of Germanischer Lloyd (GL) Industrial Services for the Americas. He will be responsible for the oil and gas industry and the expanding renewable energy market in the Americas. He will be based in GL's Americas regional headquarters in Houston.

Pagano is in charge of a rapidly growing business segment within GL that includes more than 800 employees in North, South, and Latin America. GL provides a broad spectrum of services for the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors, including testing, asset management, industrial inspections, engineering consulting, and certification.

Prior to joining GL, Pagano was president for U.S. operations at WorleyParsons, a major engineering, procurement and construction management contractor. He holds a BS in accounting as well as an MBA in finance and has more than 30 years experience in engineering and consultancy businesses.
