Pipeline & Gas Journal, July, 2001

The CORD-COM, manufactured by Corrpro is a powerful and flexible solution for cathodic protection system monitoring. The modular design allows the user to monitor eight electrically isolated analog channels, and can be upgraded to monitor as many as 128 channels. Additional modular upgrades are available for the CORD-COM units that allow the user to interrupt current at rectifiers using GPS synchronized current interruption technology.

With communication options that include landline and cellular systems as well as RS-232 compatible devices, the coverage area and potential for use of the device is extensive. All CORD-COM units utilize Corrpro's CRM. software, a Windows-based graphical interface that is user friendly, and easy to program. CRM can be used as a standalone application or is designed to interface with the Cathodic Protection Data Management (CPDM) software solution developed by Corrpro's subsidiary, Bass-Trigon.
