Comstock Canada Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., has launched a new pipeline group. To better focus on pipeline operations, Geoffrey Birkbeck, CEO of Comstock Canada, is both relocating his residence to and establishing a Comstock executive office in Edmonton. Bob Quinn, president and COO, will continue to manage operations for the company from the Burlington headquarters offices.

In other news, Comstock has entered into a joint venture with Ontario-based Robert B. Somerville to work on mainline pipeline construction projects for the foreseeable future.
