Within hours of a Federal Emergency Management Association (FEMA) call on June 8, Godwin's Chicago Branch Manager, Jeff Pass, began deploying 28 flagship Godwin Dri-Prime[R] six-inch and eight-inch pumps to FEMA headquarters at Camp Dodge in Johnston, IA.

On June 9, Godwin's mobilized 48 six-inch pumps to Camp Dodge and on June 10, an additional 20 six- and eight-inch pumps were shipped. All together, Godwin supplied 174 pumps, including unit's delivered to the Iowa Department of Transportation in Oakdale, the city of Rock Island, IL and the Army Corps of Engineers in Terre Haute, IN.
