The powerful keynote address by John Bentivoglio, Esq., special counsel for health care fraud, U.S. Department of Justice, Washington, D.C., noted that healthcare fraud enforcement resources will increase 50 percent in the next three to four years. Bentivoglio warned attendees, "There is no doubt we will have a very vigorous enforcement program for the forseeable future."

Managed care professionals must be especially vigilant. "Managed care fraud and abuse is one of our biggest priorities," Bentivoglio asserted.
