CFO exchange to examine HIPAA implementation, employee recruitment - HFMA News

HIPAA and staffing issues will be a main focus of the 2002 CFO Exchange, which will take place March 3-5, 2002, at the Westin Innisbrook Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida. Among the topics to be addressed at the CFO Exchange are HIPAA implementation, privacy, security, partnerships, and compliance; money-saving supply-chain management strategies; the role of a revenue-cycle management leader; evidence-based strategic planning; and driving results through service excellence.

Also on offer will be a work-shop on retaining employees and reducing costs, and a professional assessment program aimed at helping participants identify and resolve any impediments to advancement in the healthcare finance profession.
