Healthcare Financial Management, Feb, 2009

The Honorable Al Gore, 45th vice president of the United States and 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner, will present "Thinking Green: Economic Strategy for the 21st Century" at ANI: The Healthcare Conference, to be held June 14-17, 2009, in Seattle.

Arguing that the physical changes in our planet will eventually influence our global economy, Gore encourages businesses, including health care, to consider broader issues--environmental, social, and political when planning economic strategy.

Other keynote speakers include Patrick Lencioni, best-selling author of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team and Death by Meeting and founder and president, The Table Group, and Karen Davis, PhD, president of The Commonwealth Fund.

ANI also will feature more than 80 in-depth, expert-led sessions--including hospital and health system case studies--offering solutions you can implement to. improve efficiency, accelerate cash flow, reduce costs, ensure compliance, and anticipate what's next in healthcare finance. This year's ANI also offers a more diverse representation of hospitals and health systems, using case studies from the largest healthcare systems to smaller community hospitals.
