HFMA's Board of Directors is composed of 15 members--10 elected directors, one appointed director, three officers, and the President (HFMA's chief staff officer). The three officers serve one-year terms, and the elected and appointed directors serve three-year terms. All terms of office begin on June 1 The appointed member is appointed by the HFMA Board of Directors. This spring, members elected three directors, a Chairman-Elect, and a Secretary/ Treasurer from a slate selected by the HFMA Board of Directors.
