Food Ingredient Specialties-North America, Solon, Ohio, announced the start of a capital expansion project at the FIS factory in New Milford, Conn. Included in this project is a state-of-the-art flavor production facility with greater ability to support customer requirements, including improved kosher production.

The expansion is scheduled to begin immediately and is targeted for completion in 2003.
