In North America, the Flavor Division's recently expanded Teterboro, NJ manufacturing site is focused on innovative encapsulation, fermentation and enzymatic and microbiological processes. Its new state-of-the-art biotechnology development center features advanced capabilities for processing flavors for lowfat and no-fat dairy products and other challenging applications--all within an environment that meets USDA requirements.

Takasago's flavor capabilities are distinguished by some exceptional product lines. For example, INTENSATES[R] flavors help customers deliver heightened taste sensations in confectionery, beverage and savory applications. BIOAROME[TM] cheese, milk and cream flavors provide exceptional mouthfeel and rich taste in frozen dessert, snack, savory, bakery and dairy products. In addition, Takasago's nutraceutical flavors are uniquely compatible flavor systems for functional foods, adding real taste appeal.

Flavor scientists at Takasago's two North American complexes in New Jersey collaborate with other Takasago flavor centers around the world. The goal: to continually enhance the company's ability to supply dairy, savory and fruit flavors as well as other natural ingredients to its global customers.
