Hawthorn, the shrub that produces red berries, is mostly found as an ingredient in healthcare products or fragrances and also in beverages such as juices and hot drinks. Now, hawthorn is being used in China to flavor new sandwich biscuits from Beijing Jintiantan under the Lusan brand.
